The new boutique for eyewear designer Robert Marc, located at Madison Avenue and 88th Street, builds on the brand’s thirty year success in the luxury eyewear market.

Designed at an intimate scale with residential furnishings, the concept reflects the Upper East Side locale, the discerning taste of the Robert Marc clientele, and the highly-tailored craftsmanship synonymous with the brand.

The store projects a casual elegance and relaxed sense of luxury, and features custom-made furniture, display cases, and lighting inspired by classic American mid-century modern design. Primary materials include a white Carrara marble tile floor, soft grey leather upholstered furnishings, and fixtures in a deep-stained walnut. Offsetting these lush finishes are touches of burnished brass, polished nickel, smoked grey glass, and over-scaled nickel and brass wall mirrors—all underneath a dramatic chandelier of clustered seeded glass globes. Custom glass shelving and private viewing desks beautifully showcase the Robert Marc collection, which stands as the true focal point of the retail experience.
